The challenge
Transport company Van Cauwenbergh processed transport requests by phone and email. Driver scheduling was manual, CMR documents were kept on paper and invoicing was a time-consuming administrative process. Suppliers had to submit requests individually without a standardized connection.
Our solution
We developed a central transport platform where clients submit transport requests directly via a portal. Requests are automatically placed into driver schedules. We also set up an EDI platform allowing suppliers to automatically send transport requests. Drivers have their own app to view their schedule, digitally submit CMR documents and complete trips. Clients log into the portal to track transports live, access CMR documents and view invoices. The entire invoicing process is fully automated.
The result
Administrative workload has been drastically reduced through automatic invoicing and digital CMR handling. Suppliers connect via EDI without manual intervention. Clients have real-time insight into their transports and drivers work fully digitally.
